Matt Barnhardt
Recovery Specialist & Substance Abuse Therapist (CSAT, CTP)Matt Barnhardt is a substance abuse therapist accredited by the Asia Pacific Certification Board and the International Association of Trauma Professionals. He has over 14 years of experience in this area.
Matt started his career in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where he lived prior to moving to Thailand in 2013. He specialises in high-risk youth and clients suffering from mental health challenges and difficulty maintaining a sober lifestyle.
Matt has worked extensively in both inpatient recovery programmes and outpatient facilities in Thailand, as well as his own private practice.
Matt previously worked at The Edge Youth Program — one of the only recovery programmes in Thailand designed for young adults. This programme specialised in failure to launch, behavioural problems, ODD, ADHD, sober living, mental health, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, family problems, fitness, relapse prevention strategies, alcoholism, kickboxing, life skills training, peer pressure and having fun in recovery. The Edge Youth Program was one of the most successful youth recovery support programmes in the world before it closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many Canadian clients and their families credit Matt for his major impact on shaping their loved one's new life.
As someone in long-term recovery himself, Matt is able to share his own personal experience, strength and hope with our clients — and let families see how passionate he is about helping others recover from addiction.

With a robust foundation in psychological principles, Wendy adopts a holistic and empathetic approach to her work, ensuring that every client feels understood and supported.
Wendy's extensive experience in sober living and mental health counselling has equipped her with the necessary skills to assist individuals dealing with co-occurring mental health issues. She has worked in the mental health and sober living field for many years across Thailand. Her commitment to trauma-informed care, combined with her expertise in Brainspotting and IFS techniques, allows her to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can embark on their journey to recovery.
Before joining The Warmth Rehab team, Wendy was the lead therapist at multiple luxury rehab centres in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
